Automotive/Diesel Mechanic

Employment: Automotive/Diesel Mechanic

Maryland Truck Tire Services Inc is now hiring full-time Mechanics. Responsibilities for general maintenance repair, preventative maintenance, and regulatory inspection of vehicles and commercial trucks. You will maintain repair orders to include labor hours, parts used, and general comments. Complete written preventative maintenance inspection forms. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Operate basic shop tools to include welders, torches, impact wrenches, band saw, scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License
  • General mechanical skills relating to Class 8 tractors and trailers
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
