Tire Care & Safety is simple and easy. Air pressure – Under inflation is a tire’s worst enemy. It causes irregular wear and can lead to tire failure. Proper tire inflation is perhaps your greatest maintenance responsibility. Checking tire pressure on a regular basis can save you hours of down time, wasted mileage, and even save your life. Check your vehicles manual for recommended inflation pressures.
Alignment – Hitting a curb or a pothole can cause your vehicle front end to go out of alignment, resulting in unnecessary tire wear. Have your alignment checked periodically to ensure that your vehicle is in proper specifications. Rotation – Rotating your vehicles tires will help achieve uniform tire wear.
Wheel Balance – An unbalanced tire and wheel assembly may cause irregular wear and vibration while driving your vehicle. Tread – Most tires have built in tread wear indicators that will appear when a tire’s tread is worn down to the point that it should be replaced. Visually check your tires for signs of wear. Think Safety!
